Andorra, located in Southwestern Europe, is officially known as the Principality of Andorra. It is the 6th smallest country in Europe. It is a member of the European Union Customs Union. The economy of Andorra is chiefly based on agriculture. Production of tobacco serves as a significant source of revenue. Main natural resources include hydroelectric power, iron ore, mineral water, timber and lead. Tourism is the main source of attracting revenues from abroad and contributes significantly towards the economy of Andorra. Main industries include tourism (particularly skiing), cattle raising, timber, tobacco and banking. |
